This website was constructed using Joomla 1.6x

The website is hosted by www.streamline.net they offer very competitive web hosting and a 50% discount for charities.

The website is currently being developed by Alan Hogg

Behind the scenes this is a Content Management System so that selected users can write news stores and modify its content. 

Once fully up and running this website should prove to be a great resource for expanding the information available in the District. 

Once we have a record of all adults involved with Scouting in Moray we will be able to use the site to email everybody rather than relying on group contacts forwarding the information.

The Aim and Method of The Scout Association 

The aim of the Association is to promote the development of young people in achieving their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potential, as individuals, as responsible citizens and as members of their local, national and international communities.

The Method of achieving the Aim of the Association is by providing an enjoyable and attractive scheme of progressive training, based on the Scout Promise and Law, and guided by adult leadership.

If you are interesting in your son/daughter or even yourself joining scouts as a helper/leader please select "Contact us" from the "About us" menu.

Please let us know which town you live in and for young people wishing to join please also let us know their age so we can pass the details onto the correct section.

The District Team is headed by the District Commissioner. Then we have the Assistants and people on the team who are either Advisers or people who assist with the running of Moray District Scouts in other ways.
