What makes something special, what makes the happening of today the memories of tomorrow
and for everyday after, in a season of joy family and friendship, celebrating and sharing achievement.

I fully believe that in Moray Scouting our Christingle typifies what we have is magical. With thanks to every young person, parent, leader and helper we in Moray Scouting create that unique celebration not only of the festive season but of hard work through our sections.

We are a small District but everyone of us makes it our District, one today that showed why each of us should rightly be proud to say we are part of Moray Scouting.

There is no single person at one time that can do it, every one of us is a team, all connected, all reliant on each other and all accepting of each other, that's why Moray is special.

I am so proud of every one of our team , no matter who it  is ,whether it be young person , parent.  But my special place of pride goes out to every leader and committee person who makes the wheels turn.

So as we head into a new year , I urge you to do what you do best, and that's be you.

Today we make the dreams, tomorrow
we make it a reality and thereafter memories.

Show everyone what we can do and in that be proud of what you do.

My thanks to everyone for Sunday and for everyday they spend in Scouting for Moray , so many to mention and celebrate achievement with, well done and a humble thank you.

You just don't know how good a family we all are.
